Triptych

About

Triptych was created in the summer of the first lockdown — short sound portraits of family life: parenting, working, and self-isolating during uncertain times. Written, performed, and recorded by Catherine Ireton in Limerick. Composed in 2020; released two years later on Reckless Yes.

Made possible through Sound and Music's Interpreting Isolation grant (Part 2, 2020) — a programme set up to create space to reflect on COVID-19 creatively. The grant funded 12 projects selected from over 150 UK-wide applications.
