About the show
A touring theatre show that visited village halls across England and Scotland in 2013 and 2014. Written by Kevin Dyer and directed by Gavin Stride, the piece centres on an autistic character — though the work is described not as a show about autism, but as a conversation amongst friends: a curated event designed to create genuine shared experience and emotional connection with its audience.
The production combined live performance with video design, music, and — characteristically for a village hall tour — tea and freshly baked biscuits served as part of the experience. Catherine performed in the show and wrote its songs.
